"It's a difficult time for democracy all around the world." Where is democracy headed in Canada?

Canadians often assume that what happens in other countries can’t happen here. In this upcoming federal election, trust and truth will be put to the test.

CPAC, along with more than 25 partners has created The Democracy Project, an initiative to increase political literacy and give Canadians access to thought-provoking content in the lead up to the federal election.

Featuring: Rt. Hon. Brian Mulroney, Astra Taylor (filmmaker, What is Democracy?), Jaskiran Dhillon (Associate Professor, Global Studies and Anthropology), Maria Ressa (CEO & Executive Editor, Rappler.com), Sean Speer (Senior Fellow, Public Policy, Munk School of Global Affairs) and Dr. Cornel West (Professor, Practice of Public Philosophy, Harvard University).
