Discussion: Journey to running in a federal election

iVote-jeVote and the Institute of Fiscal Studies and Democracy (IFSD) host a panel of former and current political advisers, candidates and elected officials about their journey to running in a federal election. Green Party leader Elizabeth May, former director of policy and issues management for the NDP Ian Wayne, former Conservative Party political adviser Jenni Byrne, former Liberal cabinet minister Allan Rock and five-time Marijuana Party candidate Jon Akpata, reflect on their experiences and share advice on becoming a candidate.
