The Peace Tower is one of the most recognizable symbols of democracy in Canada. What exactly is inside?

Inside Centre Block is a five-part series that gives an exclusive tour behind the iconic building, now closed for repair, restoration and modernization.  The doors will not open again for over a decade.

Part Four takes you inside the Peace Tower, one of Centre Block’s most recognizable features. Visit the Memorial Chamber, a sacred space dedicated to Canadians who have died in conflicts around the world, follow Flag Master Robert Labonté, as he changes the flag for Canada Day and hear from Dr. Andrea McCrady, Canada’s Dominion Carillonneur, about her experience playing the Peace Tower Carillon.
