What is giving rise to populism? This presentation offers two viewpoints

Two speakers from different ends of the political spectrum take to the podium to discuss the circumstances that have given rise to populism and what should be done about it.  Sean Speer is a former economic advisor to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Saradi Peri is a former senior speechwriter to U.S. President Barack Obama.  This presentation was part of DemocracyXChange, a two-day summit where participants gathered to connect, learn and talk about the challenges facing democracy and how to strengthen it.
